I only have a few notes on GH, mainly: They should never have killed Ian Devlin for this boring Matt Hunter guy, who is a villain anyway; Johnny is so cute with Lulu, even if he is going in over his head and is nuts to be laughing at a time like this (nuts but cute); and this Karpov deal is not grabbing me at all. I am looking forward to Night Shift tonight, though! I had missed it!

What I really came to say is: WHO HAS SEEN THE DARK KNIGHT?!!!

I saw it on opening day, and it is the best action movie and comic book movie ever! We got the last showing of the 18th, because all the other evening/night showings were sold out! We went in at 10pm lol It was worth it! I'm in love and crazy-obsessed with the movie now! Which is saying a lot for a picky fanatic such as myself. I've seen tons of big action movies, comic book movies, crime dramas, thrillers, and almost everything regarding Batman (except the old, old show), and I was still blown away. Amazing. I won't go into spoilers, I'll only say that while it was an excellent movie to begin with, Heath Ledger made it. He made the entire thing. Everyone else was great (disregarding Bale's campy Bat-voice), but Heath was magic. I feel robbed of an encore in the third Batman movie :-( Such a great talent . . . Never mind "great", he was unbelievable. Genius. I do agree with everyone else that he should be nominated for an Oscar, and I also believe he has to win!

I'm preparing to drop a small fortune in birthday money (my birthday's Aug. 4) on the 1/6 scale action figures now. Search "Hot Toys Dark Knight" on Ebay, and you'll see what I'm up against :/ The fervor for Dark Knight kitsch is off the chain! It isn't just normal toy-collecting nerds like me anymore, it's like . . . everyone! There are tons of scams, fake autographs, and all kinds of stuff. Good thing I'm a savvy buyer and know what I want (even if what I want is damn expensive anyway) . . . The figures will go well with my Superman Returns 1/6, which I scrimped and saved for last year. Hahaha, fun! Joker's gonna get his hands on Supes ;-)

It's a bit early to blog anything about GH, but I'm opening my post right now, because I wanted to say I actually am mildly intrigued by a couple of OLTL's plots.It may be hoaxy, but I like Tina's return, with the jewels and the princess angle-- it's old school soap opera, isn't it? I like it, and I'll never complain about a doggy being onscreen I also like Tess' return, she's always fun, and Jessica's DID drama is OLTL's strongest story of the times, in my opinion.

Almost GH time, and I just saw the trailer for Logan's psychotic break. Scary! It isn't as out of left field as the Text Message Killer Diego "I'm Not Dead" Alcazar, if you think about it, since Logan had all that history in Iraq, and Cooper was always riding him for what he had "done" there.Terror in the summer! I like it

My lunch break is over. By now, Jerry has taken poor John, Maxie has completely told off Doc Hunter (who is still having a bad day), and (big surprise) Carly is still freaking out over a baby she isn't even carrying (read it in the ABC Update email on Friday). It is nice to see Jerry going something noble (if misguided), but I maintain he is so dead. At least he always acts like a true mercenary, though. This is a character GH has kept consistent, and I like that.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention poor Patrick being knocked on his ass. God, Anna, leave the poor guy alone! I know it is her daughter and she would side with her daughter over everyone else, but I really feel sorry for Patrick in this damn pregnancy thing. The estrogen is strangling him lol

I just thought of something. As the acting DA, wouldn't she not bother with petty lawyer work? Hmm . . .

Oooohhh, Carly, repeating the same old story and mistakes. I'm not surprised, but come on, the "Jason is the daddy" lie again? Okay, I do have to lol at it, but still. Give me a break here!

New doctor is cute, and having a really bad day, isn't he? Why do his looks remind me slightly of Christian Bale? Maybe I'm just in Batman-overload, anticipating the new movie coming out mid-July *on pins and needles*

Robin is getting gratingly one-dimensional; all she does it bitch at Patrick, and can't take his help for what it is: a guy trying his best. Let him try, woman! Let him try to be a responsible man! No one is perfect, nothing is perfect, and it isn't fair to punish him for everything all at once, especially when it is his baby, too. I like Robin usually, but she has been a tiresome bitch during this pregnancy! She acts like a little kid,"Nyah! Mine! Go away!" Please.Where is the maturity???

I wonder if Anthony Z is going to ice Logan? And wasn't his track suit and chain combo just hilarious the other day? I'm glad they don't go overkill with his character, it makes the moments he is on screen even more entertaining.

I like Claudia's sisterly caring for Spinelli, it's very cute

I hate Jax's suit. I just had to mention it lol I don't know why, I just think it's too much of a too light color. I do agree with him 100% about the wedding spread: it is a mistake. First of all, it is TACKY as hell for an editor to do a spread on their own wedding!!! Secondly, the marriage is to a known mobster, which is automatically going to associate Crimson with the mafia. Kate's association with Sonny lost her her first job, why the hell would she take that risk again? Keep your private life private! It still irks me to no end how brainless Ms. Howard has become over Sonny. Then, she acts all prissy and smug. Who cares if she knows one lame-ass designer from another, if she's just as stupid as a lovesick teenage girl? It's so hateful. I hope Carly's baby is Sonny's ;-p (sorry, Jax)

Robin always talks about guys being "God's gift", but she acts like she's the same! STFU, Robin! I'm glad Patrick is seriously trying to get visitation, poor guy. He's so desperate *stifles laughter*

Well, just the previews . . . after endless commercials. I browse the web during them, though, so it's okay. Lately, I just keep going through the archives of the hilarious web comic and blog Penny Arcade.Er, but most daytime viewers would find the language and imagery . . . inappropriate, so conside yourself warned.

I was hoping the ABC Daytime email would come in before I logged off, but I guess not. Of course not. Can't they just set a certain time for sending it? Then again, it is ABC we're talking about here, and their web presence is challenged at best.

I have the header image up now! Thank goodness! SoapCentral has been having some encoding issues, the main page is messing up for me today, so I guess that's why it wasn't working before. And after I did several edits on the image, too, trying to get it to fit, etc. All I needed to do was be patient and give it a day. But I'm so impatient! I have some more things to tweak in here, but I like my new header. I might edit out the studio backgrounds, but the fire is a cool touch. The mob war is heating up!

Off the subject about soaps, I saw the movie Labyrinth today! Took me forever, but I have it on my Ipod now. I'm so incredibly ashamed that as a child of the '80s, I never saw this movie before. Thankfully, I still love fantasy movies, whether for children or adults or anything, so I really enjoyed it! David Bowie, wow, um, wow . . . those pants *cough* Definitely iconic. Heh heh heh. Now I'm going to buy the manga-style fan sequel, Return to Labyrinth! That was actually the reason I dug up the movie, because I saw some scans of the manga and really wanted to see where the series started. Cool, right? Not. The series is getting some new buzz, with some action figures and stuff . . . How come? You would think two years ago, when its 20th anniversary came around, it would have been the case, but it didn't LOL Maybe David Bowie wants to make a comeback (I kid, I kid, though it would be interesting)!

My mom was a fan of Bowie, but not as much as Richard Marx and George Michael. I say, the '80s rock any way you put it. I got tons of leftover '80s pop culture influence from mom, so even though I was so little, I have a decent knowledge of the era. That's as far back as I go LOL I don't go back to the '50s, '60s culture, it's not my kind of scene. I have a fascination with the Victorian era, and the 1600s, exploration eras, etc. I'm such a nerd. I can be worse than Spinelli, so let me stop rambling right now ;-)

No header image, because this site is not loading my URL for some reason. I hate pre-made HTML customization, it gives you absolutely no say in how your page looks! So. Annoying.

If I can ever figure out the problem (which it won't tell me, that's how sophisticated the layout editor is), I'll get the new header up. So, just explaining why my banner suddenly vanished back to that generic GH one. Blah.

Seriously, though, what is the point of Leila and Spinelli? It's so random and blah. Leila's kind of boring no matter who she's with. Nadine is okay, though I want Nikolas with Claudia instead, and I don't mind her, but Leila's just snooze-inducing. Spinelli can have his first with her, if they must, but I don't think they're compatible on a longterm basis. I didn't even want her to be his first. He needed someone special. . . . Too bad all the sweet girls have died, save for Elizabeth, who wouldn't be right with Spinelli, anyway.

Both Carly and Kate are retarded. It would destroy all of Carly's little bit of newfound integrity to go sleep with Sonny . . . but Kate is so obsessed with Sonny I would enjoy seeing it happen. I mean, she even was dumb enough to overlook his affair with Claudia? She needs a reality check. And since I'll side against a fake Anna Wintour anytime . . .

Ahh, that's terrible. But I'm not fond of Carly, anyway, so what she does will never surprise/horrify me, and Kate's kind of annoying since she lost her independence, so yeah, let it happen! Sorry, Kate, but you've become a mindless Sonny-loving robot, and I just love seeing those get squashed one by one by one . . . (Lily, Reese, Brenda even, Alexis briefly, some others)

I'm doing a new banner later, just featuring Claudia and Johnny. Maybe I'll throw Sonny and Jason in. We'll see. It depends on what pictures I find around my hard drive and the internets.

Should I change the color scheme? Hmm . . . I like the red, but maybe a darker palette? I don't do light colors and pastels here. I use them for my regular site www.viciousdreams.net but not for my GH blog.

Bad move, Kate. Sonny doesn't like to be kept waiting. That's why he liked Carly so much: she never had anything better to do than please him whenever he wanted. Kate has (gasp) a job, a very demanding one! No way. Not going to work.

Carly misses Sonny. Those two will always love each other no matter what. Jason actually looks like he misses the old days. Tick tock tick tock . .. Only a matter of time before we get Sonny/Carly Round #101029374639. Yeah, I pulled that number from my head randomly. It's probably a higher one

And that wraps up Wednesday. Hmm. Not much happening. I felt sorry for Robin, though. Love Patrick's super-cute haircut. Spinelli and Jax's scenes were funny, cute, even if Spinelli still doesn't think the real him is good enough. Jax's "love is a gamble" is somewhat ominous-sounding, though lol

Leila and Spinelli . . . meh. Leila is so boring and stiff, and I don't want to see any story about some poor foreigner again, I'm still scarred from Marianna. If I want racial tension, hell, I'll read CNN; they pretty much report on every minority in a poor manner every day!!! And I am a minority, so you can't say I'm racist or just detached from the issues; I get them, I do, but soaps are escapism, and you can't have escapism with extremely sensitive issues like race. Why not just do the gay drama again? That has to do with romance, at least! And sex ;-)

Lulu's gone nuts over Claudia; in this case, Claws is 100% right, Lulu's an idiot to go bossing around a grown woman! Just shut up, Lulu, jeez. I hate people who stick their noses in between family, it's damn annoying. Johnny needs someone more mature lately. Lulu doesn't even have a job or any talents, I mean . . . can she do anything??? She's always saying Maxie can't read, but can she? I'm starting to doubt it . . .

Not much more blogging today. It's damn hot over here in MA, and I have zero energy. This heat's just crazy :/

According to Wikipedia's page for the General Hospital cast, Logan is leaving in June! I take everything on Wiki with a grain of salt (sometimes two), but they've been accurate for a while that I've seen. A waste of a character and storyline, I say. Where did Scott go? Why did they never bring Sabrina to town? Get Logan a real love interest other than Lulu? Are they just going to randomly send him off, kill him, make him another killer??? Okay, I sincerely doubt they would do the last one, since GH weathered its share of killers already, and it was a bit much even for me.We'll have to see if Logan departs or not, but I could definitely understand if the actor is frustrated and wants out: he's being going nowhere fast for a long time now. I do prefer Johnny, but I did think there was room for both guys in Port Chuck. Ah well, Cooper was killed off, too, and I hated that . . . Yet Spinelli, he of little manly prowess, goes on *eyebrow twitches* I will try not to hate on him, I just hate having a guy with no romantic potential taking up space, you know? It's a soap opera!

On a different note, I like Claudia and Nikolas! They're weirdly perfect, both broken and the spawn of insanity, both dark and brooding, a bit spoiled . . . The Russian Prince and the Mafia Princess! I should make a banner! What to call them? ClauNik? ClawsNik? If it were the holidays, NikClaus would be pretty funny I suck at naming couples, for reals . . .

Jason burning down Crimson Point (never so aptly named) was hilarious. I seriously had to LOL at how he stood there, just with that serious (Sephiroth) face, and then just hung around talking to Anthony. What nerve! I love it! I bet it won't go well, though. Jason never manages to go very long being the mob boss, does he? Ah, well, at least he didn't the mob to run a garage again! That was so silly. Not as silly as chasing around the monkey, but close . . . Yeah, close . . .

Sam is back, looking hot as usual, and . . . going to the range? That's her hobby? Wow, hardcore woman! Like Tomb Raider!

. . . I hate on Spinelli, then mention videogames as much or more than he does. Ha ha ha. At least I'm not on a soap opera! Spinelli isn't my problem necessarily, it's the way they write him to 1.) make such a HUGE deal about getting it on (come on, even the most introverted introvert can, I hope, manage to find their *ahem* way), and 2.) has the character not developing at all in any way other than expressing desire to be "manly" (his idea of what "manly" is, anyway) and never making good on his desires with action! Like I said, it's been like a year! Dude, from one loser to another, get with it! Slapstick will only take you thus far!

It's late an' I'm beat. I am around and watching GH, though. Haven't kicked the bucket yet ;-)

I feel so sorry for Liz and Jason lately. I really like them as a couple, and I always did understand why she was scared of announcing him as the father (even more after Michael was shot). I'm a sucker for forbidden love stories, and theirs is lovely. I know JaSam lovers will hate me, but I am really enjoying Jason with Liz. Rebecca Hearst has a lovely, ethereal look, and her soft-spoken romantic suffering comes across beautifully. Jason's suffering is always beautiful LOL He does that achingly beautiful emotion so well . . . like a Final Fantasy character (couldn't help it )! Videogames are not always about violence and excitement, you know; FF had some terrific romances back in the day.

Claudia is actually really funny while hallucinating. I feel sorry for her. Nikolas is kind of sexily stern today, isn't he? Hm hm hm . . .

Michael in the hospital *sigh* End this already! Please! I'm so sick of this kid causing so much drama! And one-sided conversations get very old, very fast. It is sad, they are all acting it out superbly, but enough is enough. And "enough" happened two weeks ago.

I'll read about what happens on Ghost Whisperer for the sake of closure tomorrow, and I'll buy the last episode of Moonlight when it comes on Itunes, and watch it when I'm not so heartbroken over its demise. I won't watch Ghost Whisperer next year, since it's on CBS and I'm banning CBS forever (good thing I never watch Oprah anyway). I guess I'll finish watching American Idol, which I loathe, this year since mom forced me into watching it through with her, but no one can get me to waste my hours next year on it. I hate AI, it's the epitome of bad TV succeeding and good TV going unnoticed. Damn reality BS. ----

I'm actually writing it, as a humorous hobby, but it'll never be published, most likely. Funny thought, though, all the killers of times past reconvening in a ghost version of PC. Come on, everyone knows the town is cursed! And not just by Sonny LOL
